Shown in elevation and section is the main door to the drawing room at Palazzo Farnese. A Mannerist architect between the Renaissance and Baroque eras, Vignola is being remembered for the Chiesa del Gesù in Rome, and for the works commissioned by his patrons, the illustrious Farnese family.
