Ramsey Krause is an interior design studio founded in 2016 by Alan Ramsey and Peter Krause. Together they have a combined thirty years of experience in the design industry. Their work aims to create a sense of intimate grandeur and blends contemporary and period elements into one cohesive language. They have recently completed a boutique hotel and champagne shop on the world-famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay for the House of Leclerc Briant.
Alan was Managing Director of Eight Inc London (creator of the Apple Store) and prior to this was an Account Director at branding and customer experience agency Wolff Olins, London. There he worked with a number of global clients including Telenor, PwC, AOL, Allianz, Tokyo Metro, Suzuki, and The South Bank Centre.
Alan has an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, London. He also has an MA in Creative Writing and a BA in Interior Design.
After graduating with a Master’s degree in Architecture from The University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken, Peter worked for eight years in central Paris, designing and implementing a number of prestigious residential interior projects.
Following this he worked on various stately home projects and other residential environments throughout Europe for Mark Gillette. Peter is fluent in English, French and German.
